Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duty will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the premises. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security risks
- Monitor cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
- Complete detailed incident reports as necessary
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required
- Perform basic first aid in emergency situations
- Manage access control systems, including checking identification and issuing visitor badges
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Experience:
- Proven experience in loss prevention, security, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
- Military or law enforcement background is a plus
- Valid security guard certificate/license required
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques
- First aid and CPR certification is an asset
